During the summer of 2020, the year of the pandemic, Marty and Melissa were looking for someway to get out of the house and do some things without being overly exposed to the raging Corona Virus.  They remembered from early in their marriage the pop-up they owned, and how it brought much joy and happy memories.  So the discussions moved to getting another RV, that would accommodate them at this point in their life.  In June of 2020, they purchased a 2013 Heartland Pioneer 22RB, the "Bear Den" and the love for camping was reborn again.  But like most campers, it sat in the driveway more than it got used.  That is when they got exposed to the idea of renting out their unit.  A little research and computer work, and the journey began to share this camper and the joy of camping with as many people as possible.  In the fall of 2021, they incorporated and formed Pilot RV Rentals, LLC.  They sold the "Bear Den" in the fall of 2024, but the vision lives on.  Their goals are to invest in more quality campers that can be provided to you at a great price.
